The Psychometric
The Business Mindset Profile is an online questionnaire (under 10 minutes) reporting on three dimensions:
1. Attention Styles
- Focusing Attention (Left Dominant): Focuses on details, step-by-step instructions, and accuracy. Prefers 'How' over 'Why'. Valuable for ensuring procedures are followed.
- Broad Attention (Right Dominant): Associated with an entrepreneurial mindset. Focuses on the 'big picture', prefers 'Why' over 'How', and can handle simultaneous projects.
2. Intuitiveness
- Reflective: Logical thinking, hesitates before taking action to consider all options. Acts as a 'brake' on impulsivity.
- Intuitive: Quick decision-making based on 'gut feeling'. Accurate but can be impulsive if unbalanced.
3. Conformity
- Conforming: Prefers clearly defined rules and established ways of doing things; risk-averse.
- Non-conforming: Treats rules as guidelines, challenges accepted ways, and is willing to take risks.
